EVENT: 2ND ANNUAL
PIRATE'S DAY FESTIVAL!
Come to the
Village in your best “pirate attire” all ye mateys
and wenches! Fun activities for the entire family
beginning at 11 am with the Pirates Parade, Pirate
Flotilla Invasion at Noon and tours aboard the Ponce
De Leon Conquistadors ship until 6 pm. Pirate theatrical antics
featuring “Bitter End Krewe” will be featured
throughout the day, as well as a Children’s costume
contest, and Belly Dancers. There will be lots of
live music with strolling minstrels. (Be
aboard the King Fisher Fleet to see all the action
of the Pirate Flotilla Invasion! Reserve your
seat today at 941 639-0969!!)
The Village
will also give visitors a chance to participate in a
Treasure Hunt throughout the Village with clues. The
winner of the Treasure Hunt will receive a treasure
chest full of wonderful prizes to take home.
Registration begins at 11 am with the treasure hunt
from 12 noon-5 pm.
Yo Ho Ho !!! All ye Mateys
and Wenches dance away the evening with the music of
“Soul Machine” in Center Court from 5pm-9pm and a
Pirate’s Ball and adult costume contest at Harpoon
Harry’s at 9pm!
